Hans Weigand: Neue Vienna Art

The “Neue Vienna Art” show at the Ice House in Sarasota, Florida, is Hans Weigand's largest exhibition in the United States, and his first solo show on the East Coast.
Consisting of over large-scale 25 works – 5 pieces imported from Austria, 10 created in Sarasota, an 8-panel folding screen and a series of serigraphs done in collaboration with Alfstad& Productions – the exhibition follows two exhibitions on the West Coast, Weigand’s first solo show in the US at the Landmark Gallery in Portland, Oregon, and "Deep Water Horizon" at the University of California at San Diego University Art Gallery.
After exhibiting for the past three decades in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and throughout Europe, Weigand's dynamic, large-scale paintings bring his vision of wild, otherworldly beauty to Sarasota.
